George Washington Black - IL 1844?

I am trying to find more info on a possible ancestor. My Great Grandfather was William Archibold Black who was originally from the midwest Illinois possibly and later on in Oregon. I have found a pair of George Washington Black's that seem to tie in but not much else. I can only get what appears to be reliable information back to about 1905 in Portland Oregon for William Archibold Black 1875-1942.
