Yes-Lena was born in Mississippi. Not sure exactly where but according to 1900 census (she was 8 at that time), the family resided in Eupora Town, Webster County, Mississippi. Lena was born in January of 1892 and died 10-27-1935 in Morrilton (Conway County), Arkansas. The 1910 census shows that she was 18 and living in Monticello (Drew County), Arkansas, which is where I have lived almost my entire life. The 1920 census shows that she still lived in Monticello, AR but her name was Lena Jeff (mistake on census) it should have been Jeffcoat. Her husband (age 31 in 1920) resided with Lena and her parents and his stated birthplace was Mississippi. Unsure of Lena's husbands first name. Only initials are listed on census. Could be E.J. or C.J. Both of his parents are listed as being born in Mississippi as well.
