He was born in Kansas in 1848, m. Mary Ann Marcum on April 20, 1869 in Jackson County, Missouri. He was a Shawnee Indian. His wife was white. According to papers that I have, his fathers name was Car-co and his mothers name was either Buler or Beulah. His family was on the Dawes rolls. Peter died in 1901 before the Dawes Rolls were completed.<br><br>Peter and his wife were in Johnson County, Kansas and were removed to the Delaware District, Indian Territory in 1870.
