the blackwells were in buncombe co. from late 1700s through 1800s and I know mine are there somewhere, tho they don't show in census records, which is all I have had to go on. Does anyone know anything about james and vinnie blackwell. their children were born about 1835-49 and by 1850 no trace of them and children living with others so they must have died. I guess they were born around 1810 or so. Children were jane amanda.
