Sara Annesley was a daughter of William Annesley of Cumberland, England, then Dublin Ireland, and then Belfast. He was in the shipbuilding business. His will was dated 5 Mar 1793 and probated in 1798. He is buried in Belfast.

He married Miss Lawson of Carlisle and I have 4 known children for them.

1. Jane Dunlap Annesley, died unmarried 7 Feb 1815 and is buried with her father in Belfast. She was much older than her known brothers, and mothered them after their mother died.

2. William Annesley, born 19 Oct 1768 in Belfast, married first about 1790 Anne McCormick of Lurgan, Ireland. They had 2 children.

William Annesley married second Anne Allen on 20 Feb 1802, whom he met in NYC. She was born 7 Jan 1775 in Randalstown, Antrim County, Ireland, and died 5 Sep 1838. They had 6 daughters, but none of the six had families or left children to survive them.

3. Lawson Annesley, born about 1780, died 20 Sep 1838, married 1 Mar 1811 Sarah Ferguson, sixth child of Thomas Ferguson of Hydepark, Belfast. She died 27 Feb 1873. They left 3 children that had families.

Mary Jane Annesley married Richard Burriss of Clough Jordan, Ireland on 21 Mar 1836 (I have more on their 4 daughters who married).

Sara Annesley married in 1839 Rev. Hugh Wilson of Ballywater, Ireland.

James Blair Annesley, born 19 Jan 1823, died 23 Jan 1892, married (his first cousin, daughter of his mother's brother) 3 Apr 1862 Eliza Ferguson, and had 2 known children, James Ferguson St. John Annesley born 24 Jun 1864 who married Geraldine Clara Carr (I have 4 children for them), and a daughter Sara "Sally" Annesley.

4. Sara Annesley, born about 1783 who married 7 Feb 1805 James Blair of Wheatfield, Belfast, Ireland. They had 7 sons and 5 daughters. In 1916 (from older research) two of the daughters had some children. I have some information on 6 children.
