I am currently working on my father's family history which is based in Neidenau, formerly part of East Prussia. Now, Labeau (sometimes spelled LaBeau), if it is part of West Prussia, would have a new name since it is now part of Poland. Check into a search engine for Prussia and you should be able to find the data. West Prussia (using a current map of Poland) is bounded on the north by the Baltic Sea, east by Warsaw, south by the Czech Republic border and the west by the German border. East Prussia would have Warsaw as the western border, also the Baltic Sea as the northern border, the east by Lithuania and south by the Ukraine. Does this help?
