To answer your questions, no I have not received any additional info on my query. The death certificate that I referred to is for Amy Elizabeth, the daughter, who is my grandmother. Richard Blay, her brother, has also passed on and like Grandma is buried in Snohomish County, Washington. Richard provided whatever info was needed when Grandma died. I do have a copy of the certificate. I know from US census records that Grandma's mother also came to the US, but I have not yet found anything further on her. So, I do not know if she died in the US, Canada or England. Grandma came to Washington State in 1908 and apparently married Thomas Clarence Goudie shortly after arrival as she a daughter (my father's sister) in either 1909 or 1912 in what is now Bremerton, Washington. They had four more children and were divorced sometime in 1930 or 1931. I have no information about him or where he went. Amy Elizabeth remarried sometime before 1938 to a Henry Howes and they were married until he died sometime in the late 1950's in Seattle, Washington. They had no children.
I have not found info about Edith, other than her existence. Did she also come to the US? Or did she stay in England? I'll share more after your reply. Hope this helps for now. Thanks for sharing -- Ruth
