I am trying to find information on Robert Bledsoe.

My grandmother, Martha Bledsoe, had Robert when she was a young teenager in Cairo Illinois around the mid to late 1930's. Because she was young, her adopted parents (Robert and Mattie Bledsoe of Cairo) supposedly her to a home for young unwed mothers.

Before my grandmother married my grandfather, she had to give up her son, Robert, and never saw him again. There may be more to the story of why she had to give up Robert, but I do not know all of the facts around it.

My grandmother passed away in 1993, but she never gave up trying to find Robert.
