Hi Cindy what happened to his wife and children why are they in an institution, and were was this institution it just says British Isles there seemed to be alot of paupers there.
Where was Richard in 1881 did he eventualy follow them to Canada or were they seperated.
Do you think he died in the UK the only way to find his death in the UK is to search the 1837 online.
I checked my 1911 Liverpool directory there were only a hand full of Blevins no Richards, but some were Printers.
