Looking for Relatives of John Bliss, Actor (b 1931)
I'm looking for ancestry/relatives of John (W?) Bliss, born about 1931 (Illinois?). I know he lived in Peoria, Illinois as a child; Florida; New York; Europe (or traveled there); and California. I am especially interested in finding his heritage, as he had many stories to tell that were very interesting.
His parents were stage actors, and he began acting as a small child. But, they rarely told their occupation to anyone, since it was looked down upon in those days.
John performed on stage, film, and television.
He was once married (but I think only shortly), and may have been married in New York?
He was once a coat check boy at Club 21 in New York City, while he acted.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
