Surnames: Bliss Wallace Griffin
The Bliss Genealogy lists this Samuel as marrying in 1817 Betsey Wallace and having a son Philetus b. in Compton, Quebec in 1818. However, Samuel's Revolutionary War Pension application dated 6 March 1821 says he is "now single". Betsey can be found living in Compton 1851 with husband James Griffin. Philetus' death record lists his parents as Samuel Bliss and Betsey Wallace. Who is the Samuel who m. Betsey Wallace and had a son Philetus?
