Eliza Ellen Bliss was born May 15 1831 at Essex, Vermont. She is the daughter of Ambrose Bliss (son of Amos Bliss and Hannah Clark) of Essex. Ambrose was married January 6, 1825 at Essex to Esther Anna Varney (daughter of Paul Varney and Anna Austin of Colchester, VT). Ambrose Bliss was born Sep 11, 1803 at Essex and died May 11, 1874 at Mount Ida, Grant County, WI. Esther Anna Varney was born July 4, 1807 at Colchester. She died May 5 1887, Mount Ida.

Eliza Ellen was born May 15, 1831 at Essex. She married first April 6, 1851 at Fremont, Lake County, IL David Marble Goodell (son of David and Lucinda Goodell). David was born Oct. 19, 1828 in Ohio.

Their son Almon Deblathian was born April 1, 1852 in Lake County. He married Nov. 13, 1875 Helen Eliza Smith who died April 30, 1905 in Mt. Ida Twp. WI.

There is no twin for Eliza Ellen but there is a sister named Amelia Anne, b. Sep 5, 1838 who married Byron Gilman.
