Searching for parents of George W. Smith born 1818/20 Ohio married first 24 Jul 1844 Clark County, Indiana Elizabeth Jane Blizzard who was born 1 Aug 1822 Clark Co., IN. They had two children Mary Ann Smith born Mar 1846 IN and John W. Smith 1847/8 IN. George W. Smith married second 23 Aug 1849 Scott Co., IN Mary Catherine Covert born 5 Dec 1831 IN died 8 Feb 1867. They had three maybe four children William S. Smith 5 Sep 1851, Henry H. Smith 1856, Alice Smith abt 1859, Emma Smith 1861/2. A sister of George W's first wife, Sarah Ellen Blizzard born 25 Dec 1824 married John D. Smith born 1825/6 Ohio. They may have been brothers. I do not know when George W. Smith died. I have not been able to find him after the 1860 census.
