Surnames: Bloch, Zmuda, Zaleta, Czerniak
I recently learned some things about my great-grandmother's family: she was born Veronika Bloch in, I believe, Krakow, Poland in 1889. Her father either died, or the marriage ended. Well, her mother Anna married Adam Zmuda. They had a daughter named Anna (b. Sep 8, 1893 in Chicago; died Nov 12, 1997 in the area) and several children. Between Adam and Anna (the mother), there were 10 children. Anna (the daughter) married Frank Zaleta. Veronika, my great-grandmother, married John Czerniak. Any information about the Bloch/Zmuda family would be appreciated. They lived in the Chicago area.
