I am not a Block researcher but in the course of my search for Binghams' I discovered the following Block's buried in this large Bingham Plot #648 in Bellefountaine Cemetery - St. Louis.
George E. Block d. July 25, 1900
Effie C Block d. Oct 23, 1905
Marshall A. Block d. Aug 23, 1929
James M Block d. June 18, 1931
Beatrice A. Block d. Mar 2, 1937
James Henry Block d. July 30 1965
Grave next to James Henry reserved for
Audrey Ann Block presumed still alive.
I trace the Block ancestry here back to a Virginia Bingham b. 1837 St. Louis who married a Hymen Block St. Louis. It is mentioned that George E. Block is their son.
Neither Hymen or Virginia Bingham Block buried here ---- a mystery where they went.
Hope this may help someone - also in reading the Will of John Bingham mentioned is either an Essex Block or an Essex Block as a compnay.
