Hi Bob,
This is John or Johnny as Vi and Evelynne used to call me. I agree with you. The Polish couple, Eva and Bogdan, especially Eva destroyed the Resort, a resort that had generations coming for their summer holidays. It's hard to earn a customer and easy to lose him/her. I really had wonderful times their as well and when I walked through their seeing it all changed into family housing, it just mad me sad. Evelynne passed away in 2003 and I do not know how Vi is doing. I saw one of her granddaughters and it was a walk down memmory lane. Another shame was the Dellwood. The hotels that have still held on are the Bavarian Manor, Crystal Brook, Winter Clove, Reidlebauers and a couple of others. I like to visit these places sometimes. Eva's Farm was really nice because of how it was laid out with cottages and traditional family houses. At one end was Donnie's Green Lantern and at the other end was Lupoli's General Store. Yes sir, good memmories.
