Surnames: Block, Jurgens, Fenske
My grandmother's maiden name was Anna Christina Block Fenske. Her father was John (Johann)Block and her mother was Wilhelmine Jurgens. In the U.S. they lived in the Chicago, Illinois area.
I am researching John's parents. His father was Christian Block, but I do not know his mother's name. John was born in 1849 in Germany and emigrated to the U.S. in 1867. John had several siblings and several children. Is there a descendant of John or his siblings that would know about his mother's name and vital information?
