Surnames: Blodgett, Blodget, Chilton, Blissett
Millicent Blodget was born in 1853 in Swanton Falls, VT. Her parents were Orville Blodget (Blodgett) and Millicent Chilton. I can find no info on Orville and Millicent. The first record on Millicent Blodget is the 1870 census where she is boarding with Sarah Blodget (1826) in Beaver Dam WI where she met her husband William C. Blissett (moved shortly after census with William to Oshkosh WI) Family records have Orville as being born in Vermont and Millicent Chilton in Canada--not unusual since Swanton Falls is at the northern tip of Lake Champlain near the Canadian Border.
