Blodgett, Alexander Ida West married 1880 Round Mt. CA
I am looking for information on Alexander Blodgett. He was part Wintun or Shasta Indian born in northern CA, Redding - Shasta area. He married Ida West (Silverthorn) also an Indian in 1880 at Round Mt. They moved to the Doris area and lived on the Otey Ranch. They had six children who were taken to the Chemawa Indian school in Salem OR.
The records I have say Alexanders fathers name was William and he was born in Ohio and that his mother was California Indian.
If you have nay information on any of these people, please let me know. Alexander Blodgett was my great, great, grandfather.
