Proprietor Saloon at 5 Court St. in Ottawa,Lasalle county Illinois. born in Skaneatles, Onondaga county N.Y. on Dec 8 1841, came to Ottawa Jan 28th 1872. Mr. Blodgett served as Sergeant in Co L 2d Cava. under Phil Sheridan when he was Colonel, was at siege of Corinth and engaged in the First Cavalry raid of the Rebellion which was a t Booneville, Miss. Mr Blodgett is a member of the Dautless Hook and Ladder Company of Ottawa,Illinois.
