Hi all, I hope someone out there can give a little help. I am trying to help an elderly lady (she's 76) track a person down to give them some old family photos. Anyhow the person's name is

Shannon BLOMBERG b. 1946 she was adopted by Oscar\Oskar BLOMBERG and possibly Helga\Olga or Edith (Unknown).
They resided in Vancouver, BC, Canada at that time.
Shannon BLOMBERG was featured in a newspaper article in 70's about finding her birth mother's name in 1967.

Bless you and all your families,
Dee

"May we all have the strength to help one another, the courage to continue to love and the wisdom to know right from wrong."Write something about yourself.

Elnora/Eleanor C Blomberg

I need some information about Elnora C Blomberg, born 1878 in Germany. I believe she immigrated to the USA in 1890 with her parents (who I have no real record that these are her real parents...I've just put together pieces) Ernst Friedrich Wilhelm Blomberg (1850, Germany) and Elnora Robke (1853, Germany to 1921, Indiana, USA).

Elnora C Blomberg married John Rerondo Beninger March 25, 1897 in Indianapolis, Indiana. They had at least 6 children, Elnora R, Herman R (my great-grandfather), Clarence W, Thelma M, John L, and Wilbur O.

Elnora C Blomberg died in 1933 in Indiana.

If anyone can assist me in verifying her parents' identities or help me with connecting my Blombergs with someone else's I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

I am looking for more information on this side of my family. Peter Eugene Blomberg married Florence Margaret Bournonville. He was born on Feb 27, 1885 in Minnessota and he died March 21, 1977 in Salinas, CA. They had 4 daughters, my grandmother Margaret Jean was one and I believe that another name was Ariel. His father's name was John Blomberg, but as the story goes that my mother related to me, his last name used to be Johnson and he changed it during the Civil war because there were too many Johnsons. Any information is greatly appreciated.

The Arner Family Association seeks descendants of:

MARTIN BLOMBERG, Myrtle Anna Arner, 1889-1939, Walworth; Rock, WI; Ashton, Spink, SD.

You are almost certainly descendants of Hans Ulrich Arner and Verena Eberhardt, 1735 immigrants from Switzerland to Philadelphia. Join us for an August 24-25, 2002 gathering in beautiful Lehigh County, Pennsylvania (1 hour north of Philadelphia). For “reunion” information or to see where you fit into the *rner family, visit Joe Erner’s website at www.geocities.com/~erner/gen/arner which documents the Arner/Aner family to the 1500s, or contact us through the Arner Listserv at ARNER-L@rootsweb.com. We’re planning two fun-filled days including a catered Pennsylvania Dutch luncheon and the dedication of a memorial stone in the Heidelberg Union Church cemetery to honor the immigrants. Help us widen our circle of cyber-cousins and plan to attend. We welcome you.

Claus BLOMBERG b.1841 Sweden

I have a copy of Civil War discharge papers for Claus BLOMBERG, who served in Louisville, Kentucky. He was discharged from service August 1865, at age 24.

These papers were taken from his daughter's Safety Deposit Box in Seattle, WA. in 1979 by my grandmother. His daughter's surname at her death was HOLMES. I believe she was my grandmother's cousin, maybe 2nd cousin. The Swedish names were Swensson and Blomberg.
