searching for parents Louise Blondin, VT

I'm searching for parents of Louise Blondin b. abt 1847 d. 1922 Enosburg Falls VT She married Edward Cleophas Richard (abt 1860) b.1838 in St Hyacinthe Canada and d.1934 Enosburg Falls VT. His parents were Toussaint Richard and Angelique Benoit. It appears they lived all their married lives in VT. They had had the following children; Napoleon, Emma, George, Marie Helene, Joseph, Henry, Edward, Maria, and I think there were three more. I'm not sure if she was born in Canada or VT. I have not been able to find a marriage record for her and Edward. In the St John the Baptiste register, Enosburg Falls there is also an Edward Blondin and a Theophile Blondin. Possible brothers of Louise? I would appreciate any information on Louise and her parents.
Joseph Sureau-dit-Blondin m Catherine Bureau

My Family tree has stopped going backward with Joseph Blondin, who married Marie Catherine Bureau dit Sansoucy in Quebec in 23 August 1773 at ND du Quebec Cathedral. I have the line for Bureau dit Sansoucy. The marriage entry at ND du Quebec, shows no parents for Joseph, and the Marriage Contrat shows that was lived since childhood with the family of Jean Maclure (some information is in Red Drouin about Jean Maclure Vol III) Jean's Wife was Jeanne Paine/Finn/Fain . They were married in 1730 in Forestdale Massachusets. Jean Maclure and Joseph Blondin were both FORGERON (blacksmiths?) I am attempting to locate Joseph Blondin's true parents. I am a direct descendent of their Daughter, Marie Blondin, who married Pierre Laurencelle in 1797 at ND du Quebec Cathedral.

I came across this article and thought it may help someone researching this family.

Dave

CLOUD COUNTY NEWSPAPER ABSTRACTS
Republican Valley Empire
H. Buckingham, Editor
Published at Concordia, Kansas
August 3, 1872

Last week a Frenchman named Mack Blonden was drowned in Buffalo Creek. He was seen going into the creek on a horse, and soon after the animal came out without him. On Tuesday the body was found about a mile and half below where he entered. He was a resident of this place for some time, being in the employ of Mr. Lanoue; his age was about 24. He was an active young man, had been a sailor, and thoroughly understood the water. The probability is that he was injured by the horse and so disabled he could not swim. He was to have been married to a young of this place on the 15th. He was a native of Canada, and had no relatives here.

I am also searching for my family tree. If anyone has any additonal links to add please let me know. The only real factual information that I have is the following:
Joseph Blondin (d.o.b apx 1840's) wife Olivine Loyer.
I do not have all of the names of their children, however my grandfather was Joseph Blondin (d.o.b. 1867) wife Marguerite Arnold (d.o.b. March 5, 1876, deceased 1957).
They had the following children: (Ephrem, Lina, Edgar, Wilfrid, Olivine, Alfred).
My father was Alfred Blondin (d.o.b. April 8, 1917, deceased March 16, 1988) wife Liliane Rozon (d.o.b. June 19, 1920).
Their children: Lise, Claude, Diane, Nicole, Roger and Danielle.
I know that the name was originally Sureau dit Blondin. I was told that the first part had been dropped but I am not sure when. My grandfather (Joseph b. 1867) moved to Hull, Quebec from Montreal (date unknown). Any information would be appreciated.
Danielle Blondin

I'm still chipping at my brick wall. My gggrandfather, Adolphe Blondin, came to Lincoln, Rhode Island, by way of St. Albans VT in November 1872, at age 16, from Lower Canada...as stated in his application for citizenship...in Dec 1888.
At that time, no further information was required.
I have yet to find his parents.
He married Vitaline Papineau in Central Falls RI 17 June 1877 in Notre Dame RC Church. The priest at that time did not include the parents' names in his records.
The only reason I know Vitaline's parents is because the 1880 Census places them in the same house as Francis X. Papineau. The census includes known siblings.
Can someone help me further?

Has anyone an Adolphe Blondin as child/sibling in your tree? He's my gggrandfather, married 17 June 1877 in Central Falls, RI at Notre Dame, to Vitaline Papineau. There are no parents listed in the registry of the marriage.
I believe I've found the Papineau family as there is an 1880 Census of Franco-Americans of RI that lists them and a Francis X Papineau and several siblings, the two youngest Regina and Hormidas, I know to be her brother's and sister's names.
Their name misspelled Blonden but dates about right.
It figures his birthdate at 1857 and hers at 1863. Can anyone help?

Hi,

I found a grave with the name Frank Blondin on a board attached to a fence surrounding the grave. The fence is falling down and there is some other writing on the board...though I cannot read it. The grave is located in Washoe County, Nevada about 30 miles north of Sparks, Nevada on the east side of Hiway 445.

I know that Frank Blondin was a miner, but that is it. Does anyone have any information concerning this gentleman. I can provide a photo of the gravesite.

The daughter of Charles LaVigne and Julia Bombard, her known children include: Frances Blondin Murray, Beatrice Blondin Purinton, Freda, John, Billy or William, Norman and Winifred. Apparently there may have been another child as well. Elizabeth Blondin would have been my great great aunt. I would appreciate any information on her descendants. I'm particularly interested in finding someone who may know more about the family story which claims Charles LaVigne was a foundling from a shipwreck in the St. Lawrence, but would also be happy to share more info on the Bombard side of the family. Thank you!
PIERRE-dit-Blondin & LaFlamme marriage Quebec or Vermont

Aloha,
I seek the marriage, parents and ancestry of my g-g-grandparents, Joseph BLONDIN and Marie-Anne (or possibly Abigail)LAFLAMME who raised a family in St. Albans and Cambridge in the 1840's and 1850's. I have unverified information that Joseph's parents were Louis-Francois PIERRE dit BLONDIN and Catherine RICHARD who married at St-Jean-Baptiste, Rouville Co., Quebec on 20 April 1807. I have a Catherine BLODAH who died at Sheldon, VT on 11 Oct 1857 at the age of 72. This could well be Joseph's mother. Best, Jerry

Blondin, New England

I am looking for any information to help me find ancestry of my family. My grandfather's name was Norman Blondin. His father was Alcid Blondin, he was married to Bertha Major. I have limited info. on these two family members. Norman was married to Mary Andrasko. Her mother was Julia Borces from Vienna. These family members,I believe, may have lived in Quebec or New England where I know Norman Blondin lived.
Thank you!
