Remarkable Longevity
Mrs. Tamsy Bloodworth, wife of Elder Thomas Bloodworth, departed this life in Pike County Georgia, on the 2d December, aged 93 years, 2 months and 10 days. Her son S.W. Bloodworth, well known to many of our citizens, says that this venerable lady was for 70 years a member of the Baptist Church and retained her faculties, on religious subjects - especially to the last hour of her life. Her progeny down to the 4th degree of great great grandchildren numbered 249, of whom about 210 are still living! She had 8 children, 78 grand children, 152 great grandchildren, and 11 great great grandchildren. Her husband died some years since. - Georgia Citizen (Transcribed 12/10/02 Lynn Cunningham)

Mrs. Fanizy Bloodworth, relict of the late Rev. Thomas Bloodworth died in Pike co., 3rd December at the advanced age of 93 years, two months and ten days. She had been a member of the Baptist church about seventy years, and leaves about 250 descendants.
