Vivian F. Bloom, 81,
of 400 Lycoming St., Apt. 611, Williamsport, passed away on March 21, 2009 at the Gatehouse in Divine Providence Hospital.
She was born April 25, 1927 and graduated from Wmspt High School in 1945.
She was the daughter of Herman Harding and Elsie Irion Harding.
Vivian and her husband W. Jay Bloom celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary on Feb. 17, 2009.
She was a self-taught sewing machine monogrammer and worked for various businesses out of her home, until her stroke 19 years ago.
She was a member of South Wmspt United Methodist Church and attended Albright Life Facility on Memorial Avenue.
Vivian loved fishing and watching baseball on TV. She also loved wearing the latest earrings her husband created for her.
In additional to her loving husband Jay, Vivian is survived by her sons, Dennis (Karen) Bloom of Liberty, Gary (Pat) Bloom of Okeechobee, FL and her daughter Cindy (Gary) Kimble of Jersey Shore. She will also be missed by her four grandchildren, Kerri (Ed) Frick, Stephanie Sylvester, Jaymi and Jarred Kimble, and 10 great-grandchildren.
In keeping with Vivian's wishes, there will not be a viewing. A graveside service will be at the convenience of the family. A memorial service will be at a later date at the So. Wmspt. UM Church.
