I am searching for info on the parents of Charles Russell Bloomingdale. I know Charles was from New York. He had a little sister named Susan/Suzanne? He ran away from home during the Civil War and married Dolly Ann McClelland from Georgia. His family ran a General Store/ shoe store. When he ran away he was disowned. I know it has been confirmed the General Store became The "Bloomingdale" Department store. I don't want anything from the family but info. Right now my familt tree only goes back to Charles Russell my great grandfather. Anything is appreciated.

Also looking for a copy of an article done on George (1920's -1930's?) Bloomingdale the missionary. I believe the article was printed in a Church of God magazine in the early 1970's. George would be my cousin.
