In answer to Conrad Blose in Rev. War:
Conrad Blose was about age 56ys in the war. He was a member of Capt. Nicholas Kern"s company, in camp in Perth Amboy,New Jersey.which composed part of the Flying Camp of Ten Thousand men commanded by Col.Hart in the Battle of Long Island. This was the Third company of The First Battallion of the Northampton county Associators. It is the history that most men were killed or wouded in the engagement with the British..Doubtless,Conrad Blose or Bloss lost his life. His widow was Anna Magdalena. in Heidelberg township,Pa. This is from records at Lehigh county,Pa. Genealogical and biographical record of its families.
