Married Homer Blossom. She was the daughter of William Hancuff and Laura Ruth------. Born 21 Jan 1908 in Liberty Twp, Jackson, KS. Died 21 Mar 1996 in Shawnee Mission, Johnson, KS. Specifically looking for the name of her mother, Laura Ruth.

Frances was mentioned in an obituary of her aunt, Myrtle L -----MacDonald who was born 27 May 1874 in IA and died 17 September 1968 in Grand Rapids, Kent, MI. I am trying to find out who her family was, and trying to find descendants, as there are several photo albums that need to "go home". Myrtle married J Warren MacDonald, b 1875 in Canada, died 1962 in FL, buried in Grand Rapids, and they had no children.

BLOSSOM DANNATT, 91, a resident of San Bernardino, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2007, at home, with her daughter, Carol Strait and friend, Kim Bryson. She was born August 4, 1915, in St. Louis, MO. She enjoyed volunteering as a clown. Her husband Merlin made Divinity Candy for her to share. Merlin and her son, Raymond preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter, Carol (Fred) Strait; and grandchildren, Seriphim Leon of Aurora, CO; Yvonne Martin of Salt Lake, UT, Michelle Keefe of Nashville, TN, & Christina Georgi of Las Vegas, NV; great grandchildren, Chris Camenzind, Joseph, Joshua, Matthew Merlin and Toni Leon, Ashley Keefe, Tommie, Samantha, Sabrina, and Jordan Martin.

I'm looking for info on my family. All we know is my Grt. Grandfather was Edwin Orrin Blossom and his wife was Lenora. The only other info I have is that they left two sons with relatives in New York while they persued acting careers (Vaudeville is what I was told). Edwin wound up living in California and my Grandfather mentioned hearing he had step-siblings, so we assume Edwin remarried. Lenora I have no info at all on. Any help at all would be great. Thanks!

Elizabeth Blossom was the daughter of Thomas Blossom & Anne Heilson. She was born 1620 in Leyden, Holland/Netherlands. She married Edward FitzRandolph II on May 10, 1637 in Scituate, MA. Elizabeth died 1713 in Middlesex Co., NJ.

Thomas Blossom (son of Peter & Annabel Blossom) was born 1585 in Leyden, Holland/Netherlands. He married Anne Heilson on November 10, 1605 in Cambridge, England. Thomas died 1633 in Plymouth, MA.

Peter Blossom (son of John & Agnes Blossom) was born 1535 in Great Shelford, England. He died June 15, 1597 in Stapleford, England. Peter was married 2 times. Wife #1 was Margaret Roper whom he married September 21, 1567 in Great Shelford, England. Wife #2 was Annabel ? whom he married in 1570.

John Blossom was born 1500 in Great Shelford, England. He married Agnes ? in 1534. John died March 22, 1572 in Great Shelford, England.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

We just found out that my husband's gggrandmother's maiden name was Blossom. Her name is Electa Jane Blossom, born in NY in 1839 married John H. Williams (born in VA).. She died in Monroe county MO in 1917. Her death certificate states that Lorin Blossom was born in NY, but it is most likely he was born in VT and went to NY at a very young age.The certificate lists her mother as Lara Brownell.(looks to be the last name). I obtained a copy of a marriage record from the Butler County Records Center, 123 North Third St., Hamilton, OH 45011 for Cephas Blossom and Rebecca Pope on March 28, 1855 by Rev. Elias Seward. Rebecca was a daughter of Thomas and Cordelia(Caroline)Fenimore Pope, found in Preble County in 1850 and Butler County in later census. She most likely died soon after, because I also received record of another marriage of Cephas to a Rebecca Jane Peake on September 27, 1857 by the same Reverand Seward. "Cephus" Blossom is then found in Somerville, Milford Twp. as a widower on the 1910 census. I am trying to identify the parents of Rebecca's father Thomas Pope(A Civil War veteran) and trace them back to PA.

I am going over my research donemany years ago on the Blossom family who connects to at least 3 of my other ancestral families in one way or another ; this time around I am paying more attention to the surname of the (2nd?) wife of Thomas Blossom and am a bit confused as to whether it is Elsdon or Helsdon. In TAG 63:70 (April 1988) the church records show that Thomas Blossom and Anne Elsdon were married the 10th of November, 1605; yet in other sources I look at that I copied and have here in my family notebook, or in checking recent postings on internet, the surname Helsdon seems to be used by all - can someone explain this - is there some new information I have missed over the years?? Which surname is correct?

He was born 19 Sep 1922 to Pelham Hooker Blossom and Gertrude Ayers Blossom who predeceased him.
He is survived by his brother, Steven Blossom of Cleveland, OH and Steve's children;sister in law, Willie Beth McWhorter and her husband Eddie and brother in law, Henry Dunlap and their families.
He graduated from high school in Michigan, he attended Kent State University in OH before joiing the Air Force as an airplane mechanic. After his discharge, he married Elmyra Milsap Ellis, a widow of a close friend, Max, on 2 Oct 1965 in Cleveland, OH.She predeceased him in 1997.
They lived in St. Croix, Virgin Island before political instablity drove them to Wimberley, TX.
He was a machinist and an avid steam railroad hobbyist. He and his wife were lontime members in the Southwest Steamers.
He also collected the writings of L. frank Baum's OZ series and related Oziana memorabilia.

I am seeking ANY information on Rufus Blossom son of Thomas Blossom and Mercy Sears. B June 6, 1789, Middlefield, Mass and migrated to Madison Township, Madison Co, New York. Listed in 1850 Madison Census and had three sons and possibly a daughter. Wife is a Tirzah Farnsworth. The Farnsworth Memorial page indicates that they had atleast two sons, Henry & Chalmer, both moved to St. Louis, MO. I'm researching the surname BERGMAN in PA and NY State.

My g-grandfather is Richard K. BERGMAN, born abt. 1874 in PA or possibly Germany. He died at age 77 in Binghamton, NY and is buried in the Chenango Valley, Cemetery.

Richard married Myrtle BLOSSOM. No one in the family has ever remembered Myrtle's maiden name...it may not be BLOSSOM...this may be her middle name. But I thought I'd post info. on the BLOSSOM message board just in case her last name is BLOSSOM.

Myrtle & Richard K. BERGMAN lived in Susquehanna County, PA in the 1910 census and their children are: Harold Bergman, Percy Sylvester Bergman, Frank Bergman & Manuella Bergman. These are the children I know of right now.

Myrtle BLOSSOM BERGMAN is buried next to her husband, Richard K. BERGMAN in the Chenango Valley Cemetery, Binghamton, NY.

I am trying to locate the parents names of my great-great grandmother, Sylva Blossom. We believe her maiden name was Anderson. She was married three times, to a Moore, a Lee, and a Blossom. She had a son named Frank Moore, a son named Eddie (not sure from which husband), and at least 3 daughters - the eldest was my great-grandmother, Mary Blossom, also called Mamie. There was also a Helen and Estelle, and a son Julius Blossom, born Nov. 10, 1896, died Dec 1981 in New Orleans.

Have somewhat of a mystery. Have a photograph which is anotated on the back. I think it is indicating that Emma Blossom married a "Dain" who was the father of my grandmother. Since my grandmother was born around 1888, I would put the birth of her mother (Emma) around 1860 - 1870 timeframe. I do not know the name of the father, but do have pictures of him. The mother of Emma apparently married for a 2nd time. He last name after marriage was "Compton". Any information on the Compton's, Dain's, or Blossom's would be appreciated.
