My name is Vickie Welter and I have little information about Content and Zadock Whipple. I have been searching for the Whipple family, there is a connection to the Eddy family, my grandmother was the Eddy side and her great-grandmother was Content. I have some papers that say she was born in 1781(?) in Vermont. She married Zadock in Mills,Iowa. I think the town was White Cloud Mills, IA, from other paperwork I have. I show Zadock and Content have the following children: Micha, Ira, Lovina or Lavina (1811), Seth (1813), Henry (1819), Susan (1820), Daniel (1822), Joshua (1824) and David Akford Whipple (1832). This last child David married Rosina Minerva Dolph 1/16/1861 in Cattatagus, NY. This couple had children Bessie Corrina, Minnie Imogene and Evaline May. Minnie Imogene married John Henry Eddy and thus came my grandmother.
