I'm mainly researching my Bloxham and Jeffcote ancestors, but all of the above names have married a Bloxham! I can trace my Bloxhams back to 1807 in Burton Hastings and I think James Bloxham (1777-1856) originated from Boddington in Northamptonshire. James sons included Thomas, Job and Ezekiel and one who is un-named on the parish registers! Ezekiel (1817-?) went on to marry firstly "Mary", and eventually Ann Petty. Ezekiel's children included Joseph, Ann, Charles, Martha, John and Henry. I'd love to hear from other people researching the same.

A Mary Ann Bloxham married George Reed on 31st January 1869 in Christchurch, South Marylebone. Her father was George Bloxham, a Baker of Luton Street, Marylebone.

Looking for information regarding William Bloxham b @ 1770 in Oxfordshire, England. He married Sarah Checkley about 1792. They are the parents of Sarah Bloxham b. @ 1795. Sarah Bloxham married William Hughes in 1820 at Claydon, Oxfordshire, England. They were the parents of 9 children, who were born between 1822-1841. Their 2nd child William Bloxham Hughes b 25 June 1825 is my ancestor, and is the only child that is believed to have immigrated to the US. Looking for connections to Julia Bloxham (married Thomas Dainty) in 1866 in the parish of Islington, Co. Middlesex, England. Her father would have been George Bloxham of Thornhill Place (he was a baker) and one of the witnesses for the marriage was Mary Ann Bloxham (possibly a sister).
There is some rumour that Julia might have been born in Wales.

To better understand the connection between these two families the Bloxham name has been added to our project. Louisa Bloxham married George Frederick Seymour 1861Melbourne Australia. She was born 1844 in Northhampton.I think her parents are William Bloxham and Johannah/Hannah Bloxham nee Pinfold/Penfold. Married 1840 Banbury Northampton. Come to Australia in 1848 on the ship Berkshire with children William John and Louisa??.
Children born in Australia are Elizabeth, Reuben, Isabella, Matilda, Thomas, Richard Benjamin and Charles.

According to the attached death certificate, William Madison Bloxham was born 27 November 1860 in Emory (presumably Holmes County), Mississippi to James Madison Bloxham and Martha Tidwell. He married Rebecca Hampton Mitchell, and though a resident of New Boston, Texas he died in Paris, Lamar County, Texas on 1 July 1934.
The file number of his death certificate is 33350.

The family arrived in the port of New York approximately May of 1854.

The only marriage record I can find for Henry Bloxham is to an ELIZABETH BRISTOW which is listed in the June quarter of 1848 for the Isle of Thanet. I believe this is where Henry was from. If anyone can help me with Henry and Elizabeth BAKER, BRISTOW, BLOXHAM it will be appreciated. Thank you.

Hello,

I'm hunting for a Margaret Bloxom. Her husband was Denison Henry Shaw. Margaret was born in Worchester, New York, February 7, 1820 (according to my grandmother's records) and married July 2, 1835, in Cincinnati, Ohio (according to LDS file). She died February 23, 1842 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Their children were Emily F. (b. 3/14,1837 and no idea about death or if remained in OH), Unamed (died at childbirth), Madoria A. (b. November 12, 1839 d. 1921 and married Zadock Mayhew), and Margaret B.(loxom?) (2/3/1842-7/20/1842). Denison Henry Shaw was supposedly born in Chenango County, NY.

I hope this information rings some bells.
