Prince Nikolaus von Blucher af Wahlstatt and his wife Princess Ursula, for those who might still be interested in this old thread.
As for counts and countesses. The title passes down to all "legitimate" descendants. Thats an important distinction.
The US also has a constitution, whereby when one takes up US citizenship, one must renounce all foreign titles. Something to be considered.
Finally, the male descendants get the title and it passes on in perpetuity.
The female descendants on the other hand, take the title of their husbands upon marriage. If they marry "beneath" their station, they end up with a lesser title or perhaps even no title at all. This one need clarification.
