Have two Blue lines...one is descended from Donald Blue and Grace McAlister of Killean, Argyll, Scotland. The other is descended from John Blue and Mary McIntyre from Kilcalmonell and Kilberry, Argyll. They had large families so there are many descendents out there. Did any of your Blue's end up in Michigan? My G.Grandfather, John Malcolm Blue was born in 1858 ( don't know where) and died in Detroit, MI. in 1892. He had a relative, Dougald Blue who was in his Wedding. My Grandfather was John Morgan Blue, and he had a brother named Donald Blue.

My great grandfather is Dugald Blue (born Kilmun, Argyllshire May 1852) to John Blue, sea master. Dugald supposedly had 6 brothers and one was Archibald for sure. I don't know the mother's name for sure at this point. Is there a connection?
