William Browning (b. 1810 in GA) was Wiley's father. His mother was Nancy (maiden name unknown) born in GA in 1812. They were married around 1835 perhaps in GA but they are listed in the Pike Co. Census in 1840, 1850, and 1860. Their children were William (1937), Henry (1839), John (1841), Joseph (1844), James (1846), Martha (1948), and Wiley (1854). Martha is not listed on the 1860 Census and may have died.

In the 1870 Census Wiley is listed with his mother, Nancy, in Scotland, Bullock, AL, and William has apparently died. Listed next door are Joseph Browning (Wiley's brother) and his wife Sarah (maiden name unknown)with their children Levi, 3 yrs, and Elizabeth, 6 months. I have seen references on the internet that Joseph went to Anderson Co. TX and may have died there around 1880.

Exa Law's parents were Permelia Troy(1812-1903) and William Law(1811-1871). They were born somewhere in GA and have connections to Sumter Co. GA where they were married in 1834. I have no information on Permelia Troy's parents. It's likely that John Law was William's father, mother was Sarah (perhaps Maxey). William Law has a sister Eunicy who married a Birdsong. William Law and his family were first in Pike Co. AL on the 1870 Census. He is listed with his wife and children, Exann (1849), Apalonia (1850), William (1852), Pearce (1854), Christiania (13), and Sarah Law, age 90.

Hope this information helps.
