I am checking on Conrad Martin "Martin" Bleemel-- I have the death record on Kunigunda Schneider Bleemel-- it does give the parents as Thomas Schneider and Kunigunda. I would like to email you what I do have. Can you email me personally at gkeusch@psci.net I cannot find any Thomas Schneider (or spelling variant) in the 1850 or 1860 censuses of Dubois CO, or in the Dubois County immigrations book. I think the informant gave the wrong parents for Kunegunda. I think her parents were Anton/Anthony Schneider and Caroline Jerger. Kunigunda does mean Caroline in German. Email me personally and I will email you what I do have on this line. Martin died in 1893, but did father a child by a gal working at the poor farm in 1882. Martin and Kunda are together in the 1880 census. That is probably when Kunda left him. Helen Zuber Keusch
