I have done a fair amount of family research on the bluesteins in my family. There were two bluestein clans that lived in MA one in the shoe business and one in the stationary business. my Bluesteins were in the shoe business. There were seven siblings, Charles, Willie Fannie, Minnie Barney, Hymie and Rose all born before 1900. Hymie had a son named Leonard. Could your grandfather actually be Leonard as opposed to Leon? Interesting Idea. this may help....
