I'm researching from James J. McElvarr who was my grandfather. He was born in 1916. His father was John J. born April 15 1889 and was Daisy's brother? I did find a John J. McElvarr born in around 1862 in Philadelphia, Daisy and John's father? His wife's name was Elizabeth and had4 children; Louis, Marie, John J, Aloysius.
If you look up 1910 Census Miracode Index you find that family. There is also a record in the 1910 Federal Census but you have to know what page:

Then image pages number 8 & 9.
I lose track after this. It looks like John J. Sr.'s father was born in Ireland or England, hard to tell from census file.
I am assuming with a name like McElvarr chances are we are all related.
