RICHARD “RICKY” BLUHM
MUSCATINE, Iowa – Richard “Ricky” W. Bluhm, 53, of Muscatine, died Wednesday, July 14, 2010, at Trinity Hospital – Muscatine.
There will be no funeral service. Private burial will take place in Greenwood Cemetery at a later date.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, July 16, 2010, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home.
“Ricky” was born on August 28, 1956, in Muscatine, the son of Dr. Samuel and Virginia A. Greenwald Bluhm.
He was a graduate of Muscatine High School, class of 1975.
He enjoyed motorcycles, fishing, racing, and the Dallas Cowboys. He also enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews and the staff at All American Care.
Survivors include three brothers, Thomas Shield and wife, Peggy, of Muscatine, John Shield of Muscatine, and Ron Shield in California; aunts, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
