I am looking for any info or connections to my fathers side of the family. I have traced it back to Prussia/Germany with my ggggrandparents John Blume and Mary Franke. All i know of them is that John died in 1840 in Germany and Mary died in 1868 in Louisville KY. They had 5 children with the 4th being my gggrandfather Casper Blume. Casper was born 9-19-1831 in Hannover Germany and he died 4-21-1906 in Siberia Indiana. He married Gertrude Catherine Meyer on 7-3-1860 i assume in Germany.Casper had served in the army for 5 years and also enlisted in the 4th Kentucky Calavary in 1861.They had lived in Louisville KY and then moved to dubois county Indiana.They had 8 children with the 7th child Antonio Blume being my ggrandfather.I am looking for someone who may recognize anything i have submitted. My father, Gerald Blume, is now deceased and we were very close, so i would love to hook up with anyone whom he may have been related to.My email is
