Blumenstock>Jacob, Friedrich, Andreas, Georg-Michael

I just returned <June 2004> from Germany and discovered my immigrant ancestor's village called Waldtann (like looking for a needle in multiple haystacks - there are many villages in Germany). My gggrandfather, Johann Jacob went to Michigan upon his arrival in 1883. Would like to know any of his descendents. These would be Crandalls and Blairs, from what I can gather as the one son Fred Blumenstock, was my ggrandfather.

I would also be interested in knowing anyone connected to Jakob's father, Jakob Friedrich, his father--Johann Andreas, and his father--Georg Michael. Georg Michael had Johann Andreas in 1790 in Grimmschwinden. I have yet to go to Grimmschwinden to find further information.

I would be willing to share what I have for further information and copies of photographs of my ancestors.

Thank you.
Toni

I am looking for information on Leonard Blumenstock.
He came from Germany in 1859. Along with him he brought
his wife Rosina, a son George who was 6 years old
and a daughter Barbara who was an infant. Barbara Blumenstock
was my ggrandmother. She married first David Buchanan Embly and
had 12 children. Barbara lived in Waynesboro Pa. After David died she married George Graham.
Barbara was born in 1859, George was born in 1853, and Leonard
was born approximately 1819. Looking for any info on Leonard and George.
Thanks in advance for all help. TJ
