Surnames: Blumstein
Hello, Andrew Nusbaum here. After doing more research, I have new info. on my Blumsteins.
I found Benjamin and Harry's immigration info. on Ellis Island.
It turns out their names were Boruch and Hersch, and they were from Perembe, in Lomza province, not Bialystok. (Also known as Pashka Perembe Numbugen, and now known as Wysoka Braniewska.)
Their parents were Reuven Blumstein and Schaindel Silverstein.
I now know that they had a sister who immigrated and was living in New York in 1910 with her spouse, an "E. Goldstein", at 17 Ludlow Street.
She may have moved to Chicago.
Anyone with any info, please contact.
