Looking for information regarding a Frederick/Fredrick Otto Blunck and family from Schlewig-Holstein area of Germany. Immigrated to IL/IA area through New Orleans on the Bark Desiree and Tully on 27 June 1847. He came with his wife Mary, 2 sons Henrich and Otto F. and a daughter (apparent) Doris. We have never heard any more information as to Mary and Doris. We assume that they died either in route or shortly after arriving in the States.
