Hi Emily Latney was my dad I remember him as young man I know he was a War Hero and was given a jeep at end of world war 2,After the war he had personel demons and was a alcoholic.When he wasn't drinking he was a great person.He hunted especially squirrels.He didn't like the big cities loved Butler County Ky.One time when we lived on Bank St Louisville,Ky he came home drunk he broke a window my mother Lenah Mae Johnson Blunk Vowell took her high heel and beat him over the head I think she had enough he came home next day and said he had lumps on his head and must have been in a fight!They divorced shortly after this happened.Mom wanted to live in Louisville Dad wanted to go back home.Mammaw Donie never forgave mom for this.Next time I visit Ky I will bring you pictures and stories.I always loved dad love your aunt Mona
