George Blunk is one of the youngest sons of Aaron Blunk and Rebecca Davis (sometimes called Mary Rebecca, but all the records I have seen just use Rebecca, actually Becky. Heer father was George Davis. So far as I know George died in Indiana before Tabitha went to Illinois. No proof except that family tradition is that he is buried with his father "at the mouth of the cave under a large sycamore tree." His land in Morgan Co. bounded land owned by his brother-in-law Thomas Shoemaker/Shumaker, who was married to Gemima Blunk. Thomas Shoemaker/Shumaker was the son fo Frances Davis (Rebecca's sister) and Jesse Shoemaker. George's probate records are in Morgan Co., don't know whether there is a will. There is also a case of Golsby Blunk sueing Tabatha Blunk in chancery. These cases were usually to try and get land records straightened out so that a piece could be sold. Amos was left land to take care of Aaron's youngest children, but it appears that actually Golsby did most of that. Jo Blunk
