YOUNGSTOWN, OHIO – Services will be Monday, March 9, 2009, at 1 p.m. at the Alpha Omega First Baptist Church for Mr. Casey Blunt, 90, who departed this life March 4, 2009.
Mr. Blunt was born April 21, 1918, in Youngstown,OHIO a son of Reese and Mattie Smith Blunt.
He was retired from U.S. Steel after 36 years, were he held numerous positions. He was a member of the Alpha Omega First Baptist Church.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, the former Doris Pardue, whom he married Sept. 2, 1942; two sons, Egbert Blunt and Marvin Blunt of Youngstown, Ohio; two brothers, Alfred (Martha) Blunt and Julius (Joann) Blunt; two sisters, Helen Blair, all of Youngstown and Ponnie Hill of Detroit; four grandchildren, Tonya (Donald) Washington, Raylin Blunt and Kayla Blunt, all of Youngstown and Charles Jefferson of Baltimore; two great-grandchildren, Tiara McDowell and Tyree Washington, both of Youngstown; and a host of family and friends.
He will be loved, missed and remembered by all who loved and knew him.
Friends may call from noon to 1 p.m. at the church.
