I remember visiting family in Covington when I was very small, so that may have been your family.

We lived in Memphis but I went to school in Germantown until I was in 7th or 8th grade.

My mother was a difficult person. She "had" to get married because she was pregnant with me and she always blamed me for "ruining" her life. She was abusive to me and had a drinking problem.

We were a pretty disfunctional family, all in all. She divorced my father when I was 2 and she was pregnant with my brother. She had my half sister with her second husband and he adopted my brother and me, and changed our last names to his. They were divorced with I was 12 or 13 and she remarried and that husband sexually abused me. She cheated on him and got pregant by another guy so she divorced and married Jack Tinnen. Then she divorced Jack and married another guy that I knew as "Tommy" but I don't have a last name for him. That was after I had turned 18 and moved out.

I had 5 children, but lost 1, and I have 10 grandchildren

Earl died in the 80s, driving drunk in Georgia

Sarah is still alive and lives in the Memphis area and has at least two kids that I know of

I have not been able to locate Kevin and have not heard from him or seen him since I was 18 years old

I seem to remember visiting other family members in the Smokey Mountians of Tennessee, but I have no names or adresses of those relatives
