Hi Becca:
I've been doing research on the HOGUET Family Tree for some time. It is like a huge puzzle. I may have some information for you. My mother's maiden name was Hoguet. I've been emailing thru Ancestry.com to a distant relative in LA. I live in Philadelphia. Let me share what I know, and see if this helps.
I was born and raised, and still live in center city Philadelphia. I know residence and cemetary locations.
There seems to be two locations for the Hoguet Family - one Philadelphia area and the second in Bristol, Bucks Co., PA which is essentially a suburb of Philadelphia up Rt. 95.
My GGG Grandfather was Francis A. Hoguet (1771-1833) who married Mary Collins. They had six children: Francis (my direct kin), Josephine, Louis A., Adelaide, Lucien (your kin, I think), and Mary.
Lucien married Emily, then he married Margaret Stagner (1839-1906). They had Mary J. (I think, your kin), Jennie T, Emily and Annie. MARY J. married Edward Force Blythe (1850-1907). When Lucien (the father) married Margaret Stagner, they had a son, Lucien (1880-1913).
I'm not sure who died - or who divorced with these two wives.
I did do some research and I know that Lucien had substantial property in Chester County - may even been a lawyer. You can either Ancestry or Google details to confirm.
Again, this is all a very big puzzle. Good luck.
Rosalie
