I am the youngest of three boys. My older brother, Adrian, was born in Scotland in 1958 and my other brother Alastair was born in 1961. My father is George William Gordon Boag and my mother is Mary Una Hutchison Blacketer Boag, both born in 1936 in Scotland. Wondering who is out there and if any of us sound familiar. Not too much info on my part so far. I was born in 1973 in Allentown, Pa.

I was born in london in 1950 to Andrew Goldie Boag his dob is 30th September 1923 his father was John Hamilton Boag a GP John had a brother George Townsend Boag and a sister 'ella' could be short ofr Isabella. somewhere in the family is links with a Rector at Winster, the name Mary Boag and also McMaster

Florence died early and my husbands father (Robert H. Boag) went to live with Florences' sister Ruth (Anderson) Ostberg, who adopted him. We don't know of the where abouts to Perry. I am looking for more information on Archibald Boag born in Scotland in Sept 1859 and married to Mary Hutson born May 1, 1959. They came to Michigan in 1885 (before March) with two of there daughters (Mary born Aug 1879 and Ellen born July 11, 1881). They settled in Argyle, Michigan.

Mary's parents were James Hutson and Mary Ritchie.

We think they came from the islands around the Isle of Skye.

Any information on them would be apprecaited.

The obituary of George H. Chase, as published in the York County Coast Star on Wednesday, May 24, 1967:

West Kennebunk [Maine, USA] - George H. Chase, 62, died Monday in a York hospital. Mr. Chase had served as a state humane officer for the past two years and had operated an animal rescue shelter.
He was born April 23, 1905, Montreal, Canada, son of Everett H. Chase and Boag, Agnes Chase.
Surviving are his mother of Montreal; son, Robert L. of Lancaster, N.H.; a sister, Mrs. Marjorie Cobb of Montreal; an aunt, Mrs. Lula Barrett of Kennebunk; five grandchildren.
The Rev. Raymond Starbird of the Well Branch Baptist Church will officiate at the 10 a.m. services at the Angell Funeral Home, 9 Dane St., Kennebunk. Commital wil be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at Groveton, N.H. Cemetery.

Not mentioned in the obituary:
George was predeceased by his father, Everett and a sister, Muriel (Chase) Libby. Muriel was born Nov 02, 1907, Fort Covington, NY, died 1965, Portland, Maine. Everett was born May 13, 1883, Colebrook, NH, died Sep 27, 1963, Rochester, NY. According to Muriel's birth registration, their mother, Agnes Boag was born in England. George, Muriel and their father's sisters, Lenora (Chase) Carleton and Lula (Chase) Barrett are buried in the same plot at the Northumberland Cemetery, Groveton, NH.
