My dad and I have been working on our family tree and have found several Boas's that were in Davis County Ia and a Thomas Henry Boas that came to iowa from Switzerland county Ind. He married Mary Jane Place, 08 Oct. 1845, she had 5 children. They moved to Davis County in IA. Mary Jane passed on, 1866, in Ia and Thomas remarried Sarah C,. Monroe 05 Nov. 1868. They are all buried in Bloomfield South Cem. in Davis County Ia. If anyone knows anything more please e-mail me diboas@yahoo.com
