CINCINNATI – Timothy James Bobo, 56, passed away Monday, June 15, 2009.
He was born Jan. 4, 1953 in Youngstown,Mahoning county, Ohio the son of Rev. Walter and Juanita Carlton Bobo, moving to Cincinnati in 1992.
He served in the U.S. Army in Germany and was a member of the Greater Liberty Baptist Church. Mr. Bobo was the owner of PDG Group LP in Cincinnati for five years.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Vicky Bobo of Dayton, Ohio whom he married May 31, 1986; four sons, Branden Bobo and Timothy Bobo of Dayton, Darius M. (Leslie) Bobo and Malcolm X. (Cheryl) Bobo, both of Cincinnati; one daughter, Timikal J. Bobo of Brooklyn, N.Y.; one stepson, Ty A. Bobo of Cincinnati; two brothers, Lee Clarence (Ernestine) Bobo of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla. and Richard Henry (Sandra) Bobo of Southfield, Mich; three sisters, Jean Bobo White, Barbara Bobo Cooper and Sarah (Ronald) Bobo Smith, all of Youngstown; his sister-in-law, Blanche Bobo of Chattanooga, Tenn.; one aunt, Gwendolyn Page of Baltimore; special friend, Thelma Walker of Cincinnati; five grandchildren; mother of his children, Karen L. Dothard-Bobo of Dayton; and a host of beloved nieces and nephews.
Mr. Bobo was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents, Rev. Harrison and Rozalia Bobo; two brothers, Walter E. Bobo Jr. and Rev. William Bobo; and brother-in-law, Judson White.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, June 20, 2009, at 10 a.m. at the Greater Liberty Baptist Church.
Calling hours will be one hour prior, from 9 to 10 a.m.
Services of comfort entrusted to the Sterling-McCullough Williams Funeral Home.
