David J. Bock, age 82
of Cambridge, died Monday, April 28, 2008 at Riverside Methodist Hospital Hospital in Columbus. He was born on September 22, 1925 in Erie, Pa., son of the late Mahlon Bock and Margaret (Herrman) Bock. Mr. Bock was a Metallurgical Engineer for the former Foote Mineral Corporation. He served his country in the U.S. Army during W.W.II. He was a member of: the St. Benedict’s Catholic Church; the Cambridge Country Club; the D.A.V.; and sang in the St. Benedict’s Choir. David was preceeded in death by: his wife, Ruth Joan (Bensinger) Bock in 2007, they were married on July 15, 1950; two sisters, Ruth Purcell and Mary Jane McKeand. He is survived by: three sons, James (Janine) Bock of Cambridge, Ohio, Raymond (Judy) Bock of Columbus, Ohio, and Stephen (Lisa) Bock of North Lewisburg, Ohio; one daughter, Nancy (Ryan) Harvey of Cambridge, Ohio; two brothers, Richard Bock of Calif., and Donald Bock of Erie, Pa.; five grandchildren, Christopher and Lee Ann McCabe, Becky Harlor, Jenny Evanichko, Rachel and Andy Bock, and Ricky and Timmy Harvey; two great grandchildren, Riley and Emma Evanichko. Memorial services at 11:00 a.m. Saturday May 31 at the St. Benedicts Catholic Church with Father Robert Borer officiating. Burial in Northwood Cemetery.
