I've read a lot of the info you gave to Andrew Bockhorst on the message board at Ancestry.com. I believe that my line of Bockhorsts are related to yours in some distant fashion, but I have not been able to find the link. My great(5) grandfather was Johann Heinrich Bockhorst, born about 7/4/1798 and came to this country in 1841 from Branishe, Hanover, Germany. He came to this country with his children Johann Rudolph, Margaretha Charlotte, and Casper Heinrich. The children were 15, 13, and 11 when they arrived. I cannot find any info on his wife, so I assume she did not make the trip (dead?). If you can be of any assistance to me I'd apprecate hearing from you.
